Terms of Service

1. Who we are

“Lucid Disk”, “we” and “us” mean the maker of the Lucid Disk app and this website. You can reach us athello@luciddisk.com.

2. Your licence

3. Buying

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller. Its own terms apply to the payment itself, including taxes and receipts. Your licence key is emailed to you after purchase.

4. Refunds

If Lucid Disk isn’t right for you, email hello@luciddisk.comwithin 7 days of buying, from the address you bought with, and we will refund you in full. Once refunded, the licence key is disabled on every Mac. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

5. Updates

Your licence includes every 1.x update. Updates are offered in the app and installed only if you choose. We may change, improve or stop providing features, and updates may require a newer version of macOS.

6. What the app does, and what is up to you

7. No warranty

Lucid Disk is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise the app will be error-free or will free a particular amount of space.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data, and our total liability for anything relating to Lucid Disk is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as permitted.

9. Ending the licence

Your licence ends if you break these terms, or if your purchase is refunded or reversed. You can stop using Lucid Disk at any time by deleting the app.

10. Privacy

How the app and this site handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date. Changes do not apply to purchases made before them where that would be unfair to you.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
